Lotta Bagge

Swedish mezzo-soprano Lotta Bagge is currently a Young Artist at the Opera studio of Theater Lübeck, where she will make her house debut in 2026 as Mathilde in Dialogues des Carmélites. In august 2026, she will take part in Opera Warbergs baroque opera performance ”Drottning Kristina – O morire, o libertà”, under the baton of Andreas ErikssonHjort and Concerto d’Arcadia.

In 2025, Lotta graduated with distinction from Universität der Künste in Berlin, where she was a student of mezzo-soprano Prof. Caitlin Hulcup. Previous studies include the Hochschule für Musik – Franz Liszt in Weimar, and Vadstena Academy of Singing and Piano.

During the summer of 2024, Lotta performed in a production at the Vadstena Academy, where she portrayed Frida and Tvätterskan in the world premiere of ”Fotografen” by Anna Einarsson, as well as being one of the finalists in the well
renowned Wilhelm Stenhammar International Music Competition (WSIMC).

During her studies, Lotta appeared at the UNI.T Theater in Berlin as Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and previous roles include Dorabella in Così fan Tutte and Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, both by Mozart at Studiotheater Schloss Belvedere in Weimar.
