ALBINA ISUFI SOPRANO BIOGRAPHY

The young talented soprano Albina Isufi graduated from the Master program at the University College of Opera in Stockholm spring 2015 and has been praised for her strong and expressive voice. Recently she made her debut as Liù in Turandot at Folkoperan in Stockholm. During the summer 2018 and 2017 she was engaged singing Eurydike in Orfeus & Eurydike at Confidencen in Stockholm.

Ms Isufi has appeared at Confidencen before singing Contessa in the Marriage of Figaro 2014 and Fiordiligi in Cosí fan tutte 2016. She has also performed in a colourful and Bollywood inspired production of L’italiana in Algeri at Hangaren in the suburbs of Stockholm singing Elvira.

During her time at the University College of Opera Ms Isufi performed with extracts from Atalanta in Xerxes and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at the Royal Opera House in Stockholm.

Ms Isufi also appears in concerts and recitals both in Sweden and Kosovo regularly with repertoire such as Mozart’s Requiem and Händel’s Messiah.

Among other earlier roles can be mentioned:First Lady in the Magic Flute at Confidencen, Stepmother and Long Liz in the Elephant Man at Norrlandsoperan and Corinna in Il viaggio a Reims at Sibelius Academy in Finland.
