Krister St.Hill

Krister St. Hill is a Swedish-Trinidadian baritone with a strong, dramatic talent who along with exceptional singing ability, captivating voice and powerful stage presence impresses audiences around the world with a great number of unforgettable performances.

Some highlights in Mr St. Hill’s career are Telramund in Cologne in a production directed by Klaus Maria Brandauer and conducted by Markus Stenz. Klingsor (Parsifal) with the Concertgebouw orchestra, Scarpia at Landestheater Linz and at Hessiches Staats Theater Wiesbaden, Créon (Oedipus Rex) under Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Parson Alltalk (Treemonisha) at Théâtre du Châtelet Paris, Jonny (Jonny spielt auf) at the opera in Weimar, Jago at Oldenburg Opera, Ernesto (Il Mondo della Luna) at Garsington Opera, Sportin`Life (Porgy and Bess) on a tour all over US with Houston Grand Opera, Donny (New Year by Sir Michael Tippett) at Houston Grand Opera and at Glyndebourne.

Further to his successful singing career Krister St. Hill recently made his debut as actor at Göteborgs Stadsteater in a play by Tony Kushner, the author of Angels in America.
